Cloverleaf Farm's Organic Lemon Balm Ointment cools and soothes irritated or inflamed skin. The polyphenols in Lemon Balm herb gives it's antiviral properties. Lemon Balm helps heal herpes and cold sores. Lemon Balm is also used on shingles and chicken pox sores.
Our Organic Lemon Balm ointment contains a base of almond and apricot oil, cold pressed for 6 weeks. This allows the oil to absorb all the herbal medicinal properties of the lemon balm. We then add beeswax and scent it with 100 % pure organic lemon essential oil as preservatives.
For best results dab onto affected area 3-4 times a day. Be sure to wash hands before applications. If using on herpes cold sores, be sure not to put your fingers back into the container after applying. This may contaminate the rest of the container.
